PW&W typically mails all customer bills by the 25th of each month. PW&W is not responsible for non-delivery by the postal service. Customers who do not receive a bill in the mail can call our office at (270) 365-9301 for amount due. All bills are due on the 5th of the month unless the 5th falls on either a holiday or a weekend. In such case, the following business day will be the due date. Should the bill not be paid by the due date, the customer will receive a 10% penalty.
Customers have until the 15th to pay the bill in full with no further penalties being added. On the 16th, a $10.00 late charge will be applied and on the 17th the service is subject to being disconnected. If the 15th of the month falls on a weekend or holiday, customers have the following business day to pay before the $10 penalty is applied. Should services be disconnected, a visit fee of $35 and a $35 reconnection fee will be applied and will be payable in full prior to services being reconnected. Furthermore, if Customer’s account is disconnected, PW&W reserves the right to request an increase in the deposit based on the Customer’s actual usage.
On the day before service is disconnected, courtesy calls to all customers who have not paid their bills in full will be attempted using the One Call System. Therefore, it is imperative that phone numbers are updated. These calls will inform these customers that their utility services will be subject to interruption (meter locked or removed) if their bills are not paid in full.
